Anywho, this is the first time I''ve checked this thread in quite a while, and I decided to check out the link way back in post #1. Way to keep secrets, fellas, I didn''''t realize that Bootskin had been updated recently!
It''s so nice to see my Selected bootskin come up now, instead of the yucky default XP bootskin.
BTW, it''s interesting to see that when you download it from Download.com, their page says it''s 1.01...it''s definitely version 1.05 that you''re getting.

Sometimes when i change the bootscreen, after i restart, it will bring up the scandisk screen (which i have never seen before on this computer because its NTFS i think)and restarts when its finished. Then the bootsceen comes up and dissapears after a while and you can only see the original xp progrerss bar(wtf?) and it will hang there so you have to reset. Then it comes up with that screen about if you want to start in safe mode and after that everything is normal.
